It's been a while [Feb. 24th, 2008|09:18 pm]

Well, I'm in college.

Kinda had a little thing with a guy. We kinda kissed. Then he decided he liked some blonde girl, and that I didn't exist anymore.

Well now she's dating someone else, and I've moved on. SO TAKE THAT BASTARD!!!

Have 2 guys now. Well, not.

So awkward. One of the 2 not guys just came over to ask if I liked him cause he's "not looking for that".

Oh life

I just like cuddle orgies

It still hurts [Aug. 7th, 2006|09:57 am]

I miss him so much. I had yet another dream about him last night. It's the first one where I could actually feel him kissing me. And it was more than just kissing. I've dreamed that we've kissed before, but this had emotion behind it. I really want to see him, to hug him, just to physically be close to him.

I thought I was over this.

My heart really hurts.

Introducing...Boy #2 [Feb. 11th, 2006|06:09 pm]

[mood |Hopeful]

Well, Boy #1 seems to not be happening, so my heart did a little 180 and went back to an earlier crush. Now, Boy #2
Basic Facts:
-He's popular
-I've been attracted to him since middle school (though he was kind of a jerk back then)
-He's really sweet and down to earth once you get to know him
-He's really, really cute
-He plays the guitar
-He's crazy
-When you tease him, he does this really adorable sad face that I just love
-I keep having dreams about him (Not THOSE kinds of dreams you perverts! Just nice happy little ones)

Now I don't know where this is going. We flirt. A lot. We talk online.
He used to talk to me about this girl we both know who he thinks is "hot"...but he hasn't mentioned her lately

Oh, and supposedly, he thinks I'm hot. Or so I've heard.

We shall see...

And I lose... [Feb. 2nd, 2006|08:36 pm]

[mood |Crushed]

Well that's that.
It's over.

I got a call from ma biche telling me to call him. She said that she talked to him at school today and he had "something to tell me".

That was a bad sign. I'm generally pessimistic about this whole "romance thing", and I can see a bad sign like that a mile off.

So I get up the nerve and call him, and we start having this casual conversation like always when disaster hits...

"I just wanted to tell you, and I should have told you earlier, but I'm kinda talking to someone right now"

So of course I put on my happy smiley voice and tell him "Oh, that's no problem blah blah blah..."

And of course inside I feel like crying.

So we continue talking and we talk for like half an hour about school and church and sports and stuff till he has to go do homework.

It never works out. NEVER.

Well that's that. I'm going to go cry now.

OMG!!! I can't believe that I did that... [Feb. 1st, 2006|09:48 pm]

[mood |Confused]

I asked him out.

Well, it all started when I got this ingenious plan to ask him to Senior Bowling Night. Ma biche told me that he would never do anything first, so I realized that if I want this, I have to take charge.

So today there was an assembly at school. Boy #1 came in a bit late and we waved to each other as he walked past where I was sitting. Afterwards, when it was lunch time, I started freaking out and told my friends that I couldn't go through with it. I am soooo incredibly shy around boys, especially ones that I don't know very well, or that I like. He happens to fall under both categories, which makes this even funner for me (note the sarcasm). Anyways, so my friends grab onto me and tell me to do it. I slipped out of their grip and ran away, as he walked off in the other direction.

I pulled myself together, and decided that I HAD TO DO IT. So I went off in search of him. Definitely couldn't find him. Right when I was about to give up, I saw him walking with some people towards the cafeteria. I ran through the hallway towards the lobby, so that I could come out and "run into" him. When I was about to leave the lobby, I saw him talking to some people, so I was like "I'm in the lobby and 'm chill". Herein follows my stream of consciousness:

"I'm chill and in the lobby"
"I'm buying a diet coke and I'm chill and in the lobby"
"I'm chill"
"He's talking with those people by the vending machines"
"I'm drinking my diet coke and I'm chill and I'm still in the lobby"
"I'm going to look at these pretty pictures until he notices me"
"He isn't noticing"
"Oh, he's leaving and not noticing me"
"I'm right behind him and he's still not noticing me"

So I tapped him on the shoulder, and he turned around, said "Hi", and gave me a half hug (which cause SOOO many butterflies). So I walked alongside him and we had some casual conversation, and he said "Hi" to a couple of people. So we were just having this conversation and I asked "Are you going to Senior Bowling Night?". He asked when it was, and I told him, and he said that he wasn't sure. So I'm about to pluck up the nerve to ask him when this football mom who is standing with a security guard says "Hi" to him and gives him a hug.

Now, she see's me, and starts doing all this weird "OOooohhhh, who's this?" kinda thing and in my mind I'm like "AWKWARD!!!", cause I'm right about to ask him out. So he introduced me and they chat for a little bit and she continues this "Oooohhh Boy #1's got a girlfriend" tone. We walk away, and I begin the most ineloquent asking outage ever...

"So. I. Was. Wondering. If. You'd. Like. To. Go. With. Me. Cause. Ihadfunatthegameandwouldreallyliketogettoknowyoubetter..."

He kinda smiled and looked at me. I don't remember if he said anything just then because I was so overcome with my own lameness and stupidity. He then gave me his number, and said for me to call him, and that we'd "keep in touch" (the last part kinda scared me, cause it sounded like a business meeting). So then we parted.

After school, I was walking with my friends and I saw him and he waved and called out "Miss Davis". That's the second time today that I was walking with people he knows better than I, and he waved ONLY TO ME! I hope that's a good sign. Though I don't know what to make to the fact that he continues to call me "Miss Davis".

So I'm a bit confused. I really don't know what to make of it. I'm not entirely sure if he said "Yes". And if he did, when do I call him and what do I say? And then does it make it a "we're friends getting to know each other better" or a "date". GAH! So much confusion.

So sorry that this went a bit long. I wasn't expecting it to.

Sighting [Jan. 30th, 2006|05:34 pm]

[mood |Sick]

Not much today, due largely to the fact that I went home from school early. I passed Boy #1 once with two of my friends. One of my friends knows him really well and called out to him, causing him to turn around and wave. I waved back and he mouthed "Hey, Bex". After we had passed, my friend said "I love Boy #1!" in the "we've been friends forever" way, and I sort of sighed out "Me too" in a not so "just friends" way. It was rather amusing. I later waved to him at lunch as he was walking to his car.

The only bad thing about all of this is that he is so nice to everyone, that it is impossible to tell if he is treating you special. He is impossible to read, so I will probably never know that he likes me, if he ever does...

Boy #1 [Jan. 29th, 2006|09:32 pm]

[mood |Hopeful]
[music |"I'm Alone in the Universe" - Seussical]

I have a crush on a certain boy. We'll call him Boy #1. First of all, the boy is extremely attractive. So of course that attracted me. But I've had a weird history with Boy #1. Actually, it's not much of a history at all. Basically, ALL of my friends knew him really well and I was like "Boy #1 who?". I mean, my friend freaking dated him and I was still clueless. But I finally found out who he was. So that was fine. I would recognize him and that was all.

So around the time of our Cabaret, we were having a practice on a Saturday. During one of the breaks, I was heading over to Starbucks, when he passed by and said, "Why, it's Bex". I said something lame like, "Hi Boy #1". I was totally shocked. I had absolutely no idea in the world how he knew my name, or who I was for that matter.

After that, I would pass by him in the halls every so often and he would always say "Hello", or something along those lines, and I'd say "Hi" back. And that was that. During this time, my crush on his "mysterious stranger" self continued to slowly grow.

So lately, I realized that I do truly have a crush on him. But I knew nothing about him. Other than the occasional "Hi", we had never spoken to each other. So my hope of something happening was about nil.
1)I was too shy to do anything
2)I never see him around school
3)Given the opportunity, I wouldn't know what to say.

Today I was whining about this to ma dear bee biche, and she came up with a genius idea. She would call him and see if he was going to the basketball game this evening, and then she and I would go, causing Boy #1 and I to be "thrown together".

The plan worked. Despite ma biche's whiny little sister, we all ended up at the game. For a while he wasn't there. Ms. Ruszel, my English teacher, was sitting with ma biche and I, and ma biche divulged the plan unto her. When he finally came in, Ms. Ruszel had just happen to slide into the empty seat next to me to continue to tease me. He ended up sitting elsewhere, which was totally lame. During half time, after Ms. Ruszel went to go sit somewhere else, ma biche went up to him and basically dragged him over and made him sit next to me.

From thence commenced one of the most amazing conversations that I have ever has with someone who was essentially a stranger. When the first game was almost over, the little sister was making such a fuss that the real, sweet, amazing biche had to leave. The amazing conversation continued into the second game. It was amazing. We talked about everything from church to music to school to the future and everything.

So my original intention was to go to the first game, and then walk home at like 7:30 (my parents being out). But I just HAD to stay on to the second game, which ended at like 9. So I didn't want to walk home so late. So I begged him to give me a ride home. Being the perfect gentleman that he is said "Of course". So we walk over to his car, and before we get there, he puts a hand on both of my shoulders gently, and tells me to wait a minute. He goes over to his car, and cleans it out so that I wouldn't have to sit among boy stuff. So then he drove me home.

I am so fluttery right now that my whole body is shaking. I really hope that something comes of this, because he is PERFECT. I will be really sad if they don't. So yes, that is my story of me and Boy #1. So yes.

Oh, and one more thing. He used to play the trombone, which I think is the sexiest instrument ever!!!
